The Cleared Systems ITAR Secure Asset Identification Tag is designed for defense manufacturers, aerospace organizations, government contractors and other organizations that need a highly visible method of identifying assets associated with ITAR-controlled technical data or export-controlled operations.
Manufactured from .030" black anodized aluminum, each 2" × 1" tag is permanently fiber-laser engraved with high-contrast silver markings. The standard layout prominently identifies ITAR and provides export-control warning language intended to reinforce organizational handling procedures.
Each tag can include your company name or logo, individually serialized Asset ID and ownership information. The tamper-resistant adhesive backing provides permanent attachment without drilling equipment or using mechanical fasteners.
Suitable for engineering workstations, manufacturing equipment, laptops, servers, test equipment, storage devices and other assets designated by the organization as part of its export-control environment.

The tag is an identification and awareness control and should not be represented as making an asset or organization ITAR compliant by itself.
Each tag carries the ITAR marking and warning language from the standard layout, your organization name (or logo), and a unique serialized Asset ID.
You choose the starting number and an optional prefix. Every tag in the order receives the next consecutive number, and leading zeros are kept. If you order more than one pack, numbering continues across all of them.
PNG, JPG, SVG or PDF up to 5 MB. Vector files (SVG or PDF) produce the sharpest engraving. A logo is optional.
Yes. A one-time $25.00 setup fee applies per order, no matter how many customized tags or badges are in it.
Each tag has a high-bond, tamper-resistant adhesive backing, so no drilling, screws or mounting holes are required.

Because every tag is custom engraved, asset tags can't be returned except for manufacturing defects. Please see our return policy.
