Description:
This course is designed to provide employees with a comprehensive understanding of ITAR regulations and compliance requirements. The course covers a range of topics, including an overview of ITAR regulations, company commitment to ITAR compliance, program responsibilities, document control, human resources, internal audit, vendor control, work environment, record control, submission requirements, and encryption and data security.
Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of ITAR compliance and the consequences of non-compliance, as well as the roles and responsibilities of ITAR compliance program participants. They will also learn about specific ITAR compliance requirements and best practices for ensuring compliance across a range of areas, including document control, personnel security, vendor management, workplace security, record control, and export submissions.
In addition, participants will learn about the role of encryption in protecting ITAR-controlled data, including an overview of encryption types and best practices for using encryption to safeguard sensitive information. They will also learn about data security principles, common data security threats and risks, and best practices for protecting ITAR-controlled data.
